Jacalyn J. McComb, Ph.D. FACSM

Dr. Jacalyn McComb is a Professor Emeritus at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. Her academic area of expertise is exercise physiology. She now resides in Tucson, AZ and has a small consulting business called “Exercise is Medicine for your Body, Heart, and Soul”. She is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as a Clinical Program Director, Clinical Exercise Physiologist, and is also certified in Exercise is Medicine.

She started teaching swimming lessons for the American Red Cross (ARC) when she was 17 years old. She believes in the goodness of the ARC organization and is currently certified to teach Basic Life Support, First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and automated external defibrillator (AED) utilization. She feels honored to work with Michael Thompson at Everyone’s CPR Training, LLC helping people save lives by learning the ARC life-saving skills.
